Probably a wise decision, those hydraulic switches have not had the greatest reputation for longevity.

  2. Substitute a solid spacer for the banjo fitting and you're home free...

I had that problem a couple of times. You can get copper washers for inverted flair seats..... Found some at Ace hardware... They were just thick enough to allow the fitting to seat.

    Nothing.

Oh man! I tried to locate some of them. I first went to True Value here in town, only to be told they don't carry them. Did a 45 mile drive to the nearest Ace, only to have them tell me they don't have a clue what I'm talking about. I can't find any of them online either.

    I give up!

Thought there must be a fitting available and simply needed to find the right supplier...I thought wrong. I've wasted more than enough time and money trying to make this work properly. I'll go with a mechanical switch and just forget about trying to make my original plan work.

Thanks to all you guys for offering up help....I really appreciate it!

Some NiCoop tubing and a flare tool could make some of those.

Just did a Google search for inverted flare washers.... Grainger, Amazon, I even saw an old HAMB thread about them.

    Try your search again.

If you know anyone with a lathe, have them trim back the hex section of the speedway part. I assume it’s a solid piece.
