Looking for a junk yard swap idea for a foot parking brake. It's for a 50 deluxe that has an open drive line out of a 1998 s10 I believe. Rear end has all hardware, I need from the cable coupling to the kick panel area as I have future plans for a center console and do not want a center mounted hand brake. Must add that I have minimum fabricating skills but will try. Learning the hard way on a lot of things cause I have more time than money but it's a neat adventure.

Small world. I was researching the exact same thing yesterday... S10 rear, foot operated device, etc.

X2. I am interested as well!

I found a 2006 Avalanche with hand release that might work. It's gonna be interesting due to the curved kick panel area. 20190423_114917.jpeg

I couldn’t find a foot brake that I thought would work for me. I started with a 1955 Chevy parking brake mechanism and fabricated a firewall mount and modified the dash mount. I used the ‘51 Chevy handle on it. A cable attaches to the firewall and connects to the stock cross bar. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
