I'd like to put a 8X2 log intake on a 331/354/392 Hemi. I rarely see them available on the market. Will it be cheaper to build a cusyom 8X2 or just save up and keep searching for a original one?

I've got a 354 that I'd like to find a manifold for, but they advertise for 2 to 3 times what the HEMI cost me. :(

Build your own log type. Find a used basketball goal post some flat bar and make temples. Cut accurately

I found a guy on Instagram that makes them. Not square like Offenhauser a but more round log style. He has the dyes. One side has six holes, originally he makes then with four facing forward and four facing back. I asked to have all facing forward for uniformity. Made for 331/54/92 Hemis.

  6. Finding 8 good 97's will probably cost a day's wages. :D

We found a new Weiand Drag Star at the 'Rod & Rail' speed shop in Menlo Park.
Owner said it had been on the shelf for a few years...Outright, $40. (1964)
Strombergs were all around then, picked up some goods and some cores cheap.
