  2. Funny you should say that, a guy in Brenda's shop today told me he has always liked the car and to put a price on it, I told him as long as I'm breathing that car ain't going no where. money won't buy everything. HRP

Wait, I thought real hot rods had three pedals? But seriously, what I would't do to have a car like that!

  6. Great looking cat, interior looks perfect.

Your definition of beater and mine are slightly different....... I was expecting an 87 chevette with an exhaust leak and a door that doesn’t shut properly.......... not THAT there purty car !!

There is something about that 32’. Interior looks great and just magnifies the 62 year old paint job(or lack of). It is driven in the rain, driven everywhere, just says Hot Rod.

  11. I’ve got a term for some of my cars, “sweeter beater” it’s a beater buts it’s a little sweeter.

  14. Very nice upholstery job. Nothing beats a simple, understated design done perfectly.

Danny, even though I would have to paint it { I have to paint everything ! lol } But I understand your love for this car as is and the new interior just seems to complement the car perfectly. Nice job , enjoy. Larry

Coolest '32s I remember well were just like this! 1956, Ronny Bjoyarski drove a green '32 Tudor with black fenders, unusual installation of a '53 Merc. Reversed '50 Merc wheels, wide whites, (bug & littles) '50 Merc caps, looked close to Danny's.
Cliff Ambrose had a dark red '32 Five window, also this 'clean full fendered' look, 296" 59AB...
This was before the 'imaginative types' stepped in with their chrome Appliance wheels, and other "accessories to improve the '32"...
Ronny had Toupal the upholsterer do his Tudor up in simple, wide pleats...an 'unwashed' remarked, "Hey, original seat covers?" LOL Gospel.
Danny has just heightened the coolness even more points...

Really nicely done. I see many photos as well as actually
viewing interior jobs. More often than not there will be a pucker or bunching as well as ridges in the corners or other difficult to fit areas. This seems to be prevalent in headliners as well. I see no such issues in your sedan.
The difference is amazing in the final appearance. The
person whom did yours is a true craftsman!

Really looks nice Danny, I like the wide pleats:cool: They match up with the look and feel of the car. BGII (my roadster) has stock TR6 Triumph seats with a pleat a bit narrower than that, and those seats are the only upholstery in the car. I like your treatment of the door panels and just may copy it when and if I finally do the rest of the interior. Getting hard to find someone to do interior work that doesn't cost more than we spent on an engine!

It looks very nice, the distressed leather really fits the vibe of the car. Do you feel that the sound deadener you installed made a noticeable improvement?

  30. Having never had any resemblance of a interior it's hard to say but when I was driving home in the pouring rain with the windows up I heard for the first time my odometer click when it went every tenth of a mile.

I am very pleased with everything. HRP
