image.jpeg image.jpeg With the dropped axle, rubber rake, reversed eye springs, and the chop, it's a full 7" lower than the stocker I started with.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Never liked the way the top meets the w/s on Cabriolets, so I asked Eli to extend the header 1", and lower it 3/8", so it almost reaches the chrome frame.

It just doesn't look like the car you started with! Proof that really you don't have to do much to these cars to make a dramatic transformation. Well done. I applaud you restraint. It looks brilliant.
    Cheers,
    Stewart.

Mike Curley is doing a sensational job on the top! B & C pillar angles are parallel, and the "eyebrow" does not have a thick binding, which I hate. Should be buttoned up by Mon. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

The top is only loosely on now, and will be tightened up when it's done.

  16. The only thing I can say is that it is sensational. Cowl lights are your turn signals?

The cowl lights are just running lights at the moment, as I don't have turn signals hooked up yet. Maybe in the future.

Definitely a collaboration, with a couple of cool interior details in the future. This has been a fun project, and it came together rather quickly, compared to some of my past builds.

Mike did such an awesome job, and it's so taut, that it looks like a padded top.
I was going to have him make a top boot, but now I know I'll never put it down.

  25. Never put it down? That's sad. Summer is just beginning and it's top down weather here!
