  4. It has driver way back, no front brakes, spoke wheels. NOT A GASSER, or at least not a legal one. I suspect it ran nitro. ANYBODY?????

    Also, there is a photo I’ve seen of Don “Rockerhead” Montgomery with a full face mask on in his Willys Gas Coupe. Anybody know if he ran it on fuel at that event?

    They all had brakes, today the guys that really drive them upgrade to hydraulics. Look inside at the differential there is a brake drum with a contracting band along side the drive sprocket. Later cars had two outboard drums. Bob
