    Hello,
I have just mounted my Lincoln brakes on my AV8 build and thinking of wire wheels.....
Does 15 inches wire wheels fit over Lincoln drums or are they to small?
Stupid question maybe but as 1935 wheels i sweden start to get expensive and rare i´m thinking of buying new ones like true spoke or similar.

    Thanks

The old Ford wires have the cove in the backside mounting surface that fits over the drum. I think most all newly made wire wheels wouldn’t have such a weird mounting surface. It would limit the possible applications.

There have been many 15” wheels used on old Ford style 12” brakes. Even if you have stock Lincoln drums I’d bet that 15” wheels would work.

    Thank's for your answer.
I should have written "Lincon style" drums...they are Boling brothers drums.
