Technical Does any recognize what car this came from? Temperature gauge

    Picked this up at swap , would like to find matching oil pressure , I’ve checked high and low , any help in identifying would be appreciated (it’s going in my 30 ford coupe )Thanks again IMG_2763.JPG IMG_2790.JPG IMG_2792.JPG

    Autocar trucks and Cords had a very similar gauge design, except I've only seen them with maroon outer rings and yellow lettering. The Autocar and Cord have the rings silkscreened on the center like yours too, but the wrong color. All I can say is they are probably late 30's and made by Stewart-Warner.
     
  3. It looks like the kind of gauge that was used on old White & Freight-liner cab-over trucks. HRP

    Why run this gauge Anyhow? The Bourdon tube is broken off and it pegs at 220. Most pressurized systems can run a lot hotter than that.

    Maybe he's gonna run it in a flathead. If so Williamson's can repair it with a new sending bulb.

    Probably because Summit has the Dolphin gauges on back order.
