The movie is "King of the Mountain with Harry Hamlin and Dennis Hopper.
It is a decent movie.

 

I guess that you must be busy with your "2many projects" as this was clarified within a day of me posting it.

I was finally able to finish the video about my old Corvette. It was a lot of fun to put together...it's about 20 minutes long, but there are lots of old pictures and video clips in there, so I hope you guys enjoy it.

Great story and the look on your daughter's face when she was a bit older and you took it through the gears was priceless.

Any updates on the red coupe it's been awhile since I watched that one.

The only thing I've done to the red coupe recently is redo the charging system with a Powermaster PowerGEN, new battery cables, battery, etc. I also put a new hi-torque starter on it. I have lots of plans for it, but currently have a '67 Camaro in the shop that's taking most of my time.

In regards to the Mr. Pickett 1960 Corvette, it was later raced under the name Vicious Vette. Strange deal is in the picture above the original Vicious Vette (a 58) owned by Charlie Wilson is getting ready it appears to match race the Crower Cams Special. I had thought that car was a 62 and was not Mr. Pickett but I still think it would have been cool to witness the match race of the two Vettes anyways.
