Back in the 70's I did a lot of 55-56-57 Chevy stuff, I "outgrew" it after many builds and got into early Fords, mainly '34 Fords.
Now I find myself with more time since I retired and was wondering what is out there in the way of Cameo parts.
I run across 3100's occasionally but don't want another one, 3124 only. What is available these days in the way of reproduction body parts should I decide to do one last build ?
I have a fresh 6-71 blown big block, turbo 400, jag and corvette rears.
My last 3100 in the early 80's had a Chevelle clip , tube frame, a Jag rear and a pounder small block.
I learned a LOT on that build.
    Thanks for any info.

  2. I have not been up to speed, so I haven't kept up with sources lately. I would be very interested in getting back up to date on parts, but I am lucky in a way, because most of what I need are just the 3100 stuff. The only thing I need that is Cameo specific, is the right rear bumper guard.
I have had my truck over 50 years, and swapped the first big block, a 350 horse 396, into it in 1971. It now has a warm 454 with 280 Comp Magnum cam, square port heads, and a stock 425 horse Winter intake manifold. ( I am going to be 76 this summer, and I don't need a setup that is any hotter).
My truck has had several changes in running gear, and the avitar is an older one with a TH 400, 203 part time transfer case, honodrive O/D, and 3.73 blazer 4x4 running gear.
My plan for this summer, after my garage is done, is to put the stock 55 axle back in, and switch out the 12 bolt for a Gleeson-Torsen geared 9 inch. The reason I am switching out the rear end, is that no matter which rear end I use, I need to narrow it, and I have a big bearing 9 inch just waiting for a home.

These people list the tailgate bowtie but no price. They also list the instrument cluster, tail light parts, such as lenses and gasket. They also list the tailgate recoil and cable.

This link offers body parts, I can't remember if there are any Cameo specific parts, but there are box parts available, if you need to rebuild the box.

This site sells bed wood kits for the 3100 series trucks. The Cameo bed wood is the same as the regular box.

That is all I have for now.
