Couldn't conceivably afford to play with that ........ or Ms Peterson either, for that matter.
Hell, can barely afford to play with old rusty tin.

Had an afternoon to myself, so diddled out the first four throttle levers. The ones on the common shaft.

Found some play time in the garage yesterday & today. So finished up the throttle linkage.

Been another long interruption. And it'll be a bit longer still, but I did manage a few token things accomplished. I had to clean out the area I was keeping Cassi's body parts in, and had nowhere else to stash'em. So I popped'em back on'er for now. This's actually the first time I've had'er visually together with the Buick mill in place, and I'm liking how she's turning out. I'll pop in some pics here in about an hour.

Just realize that Old6rodder operates in a different time zone than most of us. Don't worry, if he said he would post pictures they will show up.

My apologies, Gentlemen. I'm undergoing a learning curve in the process of transferring my files to something called "thumb/flash drives". Old dogs vs. new tricks (well, new to me anyway), and all that.
    Here 'tar ......

As to the bodacious Mrs. Peterson, if I actually had anything not from an approved public PR source, you can be assured you'd never get to see it. I'm a greedy snot that way. ;)

Howdy to all of us finally crawling out from under the virus response hassles. It's certainly been weird.

Didn't get much done on Cassi in the interim, just a couple small things. Lot of hours went to my Rose Parade float hobby, and I put in some time on the S/D conversion project on El Toad (guess I should start a thread on that sometime). Did manage to add a radiator shell brace and a fuel rail to the girl though. Fuel system's now complete. Here're a couple pics ......

Nearly another year's down the tubes since I've been able to work on Cassi, but the fat lady ain't warming up her tonsils yet. Got back in the garage, and put three days in on'er. Decided to do something visual to get back in the "feel", so did a thrash on the Nash dash. I'm a Mahogany freak, so two shades of the same're what I used.

Got the instruments in, and re-assigned some of the original switch purposes so I could keep the gennie switch plate in use. Added the push buttons (in Mahogany of course) for the 904 in an oval layout to go with the rest of the '24 Nash style.

Anyway, here're a couple pics and a vid link of the latest work. And here's to a damn sight less time between this thrash and the next one.

Back at it, the oil pan & pump pick up this time. Modified the pan for the 28* tilt, and fitted the pump pick up to the new angle. Defeated Buick's "floating" pick up feature, keeping it flush with, and right at, the bottom.

My avatar has SUs. Best carburetor ever made. Got one on my 1946 Harley for 47 years now. It can sit for months and start on first kick

OK, Kiddies, first round on the exhaust. Cobbled together a log(ish) type over three days for the first set-up. Ran it into a home brewed muffler inside an old truck stack. The stack'll be permanent, but I'll likely eventually do a better (proper) set of headers.
