Looks like the car of Jorge Daponte at Indianapolis in 1954. However, I'm certainly not recognizing the car at all. On the one hand it looks like a Kurtis but it also has what looks like a Grand Prix type windscreen. And I have to wonder what kind of engine is in the car. Is there any additional information on this one? Somehow I doubt that Daponte ever passed a Rookie Test.

What happened to all this cool kind of stuff? You just don't see anything like it anymore.
