Strange isn't it. If it's something at Bleach's end, why does nobody else complain, but if it's at my end, why do I only have a problem with Bleach's photos, on this forum? It does not compute Will Robinson!
I could see all Bleach's photos yesterday, but none today. Bizarre.

Not sure where or when this photo was taken but it might have been after WWI. The two fighter planes on the outsides of the larger plane are German Fokker DVIIs; the plane that was thought by many to be the most advanced fighter of the war. Well over a hundred of these planes were confiscated and brought to the United States for evaluation. It might be some of these planes flying in an exhibition event. Later on the Fokkers seemed to scatter all across the U.S. Some were actually junked. Others were given away to county seats in various states for display. I've heard stories about one that was displayed at the Illinois State Fairgrounds for over two decades before someone decided that it was no longer needed and stored it outside for several years until it rusted and rotted before being carted off to the junkyard.

We had the Helm's Bakery truck in Montclair, Pomona and Riverside. Good stuff.

  22. We had a Helms Bakery truck come through our neighborhood in Maywood, CA. The driver would blow the distinct "whistle" horn to let us know he was around.
