Folks Of Interest Winkie Louise, Miss Firebird

Inquiring minds want to know.

 

As I recall, Edwina was her real given name. Winkie was a nickname.

 

I was interested too...after clicking on that dead link to see what became of her. Evidently in 1968 she married Jerry Kramer who had played in the NFL, and later wrote and produced a couple movies. Apparently she and Jerry are still married and living in Montana...3 kids. So nothing "happened" as far as I can tell, other than a good life...husband appears to be alive yet too...he is about 83...Winkie is now 75 or so..

Miss USA looks like a real life Barbie doll right there.....she is also a knockout.

 

There is a fair number of these gals that fall into the stunning category...I never tire of this aspect of the Big Picture we celebrate here. Most of these Ladies were in their heyday before I new that this Big Picture existed...Timeless Beauty indeed.

 

Marvel sure missed this one! Miss Firebird to the rescue!!
