Projects 1962 biscayne has pedal installation

Can someone help me with how these are installed? My car has never had a gas pedal in it, and I can’t comprehend how they work with the pins.. do the pins bolt straight to the floor pan?

Thank you that picture helps a lot! So the pedal has little holes in the bottom, and those pins just pop into the pedal?

And if they are similar to the type used in early Holdens, when they wear, the pedal will pop back off.

 

The plastic on the gas pedal itself will wear before the steel on the pedal pins. Repop pedals don't attach well to the steel original pins. Read lots of complaints on repop pedals.
