RE the Case cars: there are only about 100 of them left. Same company as the tractors. A friend had 5 of them, sold at auction a few years ago.

It was sort of an odd thing. My classmates learned to dance to Rock Around the Clock and See You Later Alligator, but Haley and the Coments were older guys and didn't project the "cool" image that many of the others who were popping up everywhere. I think they could not figure out why they were not succeeding on an Elvis level. I'm sure it waa frustrating to them. I was working in an area of TX when Haley died and it just was a small obit. Sad.

 

Note the Ford special order tags on the front... This one has the over head valve 283 cu in V8 small block chevy factory option
