There is SOOOOO many things worng with that picture!! Woman in black looks bored outta her skull........NOBODY is smiling.....kneeling dude on the left.....has some kinda weird knot on his head....kneeler on the right looks A LOT like a picture I saw once in the post office....guy standing on the left looks like he's practicing his X-Ray vision stare.... the babe in the swim suit??! is that a cardboard cut-out?! The man behind her looks like he just "cut-the-cheese" and lady beside him just caught first sniff! I could be worng...I was once. I thought I was but I wasn't. 6sally6
The last pic is from a 1938 Life mag photo shoot. The burning question is: Who won the title 'Queen of the Car Wash'?
Easy to forget that all of that signage was done by a real life, talented sign painter. No computer generated stuff! Sad, that we've almost lost the art and skill-set of those tradesmen from that era.
