are your arms made of super bendy pipe cleaner type things ? How do you manage to get in behind the skin.. ? Ive done a few big panels but I've often resorted to cutting out the inner structure, doing the planishing work and welding the inner back in.. or suffer being cut to shreds and a week of back and elbow pain having contorted myself into the best possible position to reach through the small access holes, but you never can quite get to the bbit you need to work.. Hats off to you, the finnish looks perfect ..
Beat the lower hinge back toward the rear of the car with a heavy hammer, 1 to 3 taps and you're set for even door gap.

A question that most of us who play with sheet metal (old cars) , but few would come out and ask: what do you use for the cracks on and around your fingers? Short cuts and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I believe that is actually called dimpling as the material is to thin to countersink. There is to Male and Female Dies and it can involve several layers. Csk fasteners or rivets are the fastener of choice for this application. Always incredible to see your Metalsmithing Magic @Flop.

I can sympathize on those cowl band feet. I did a pair about a month ago. Henry sure didn’t want them to fall off.
