I go to physical therapy on Tuesday and Thursday. My Therapist has a chopped '28 A Sedan with a 302. I try to drive a different hot rod each visit plus a bunch of us T Bums meet every Saturday for coffee and pastries or breakfast so I drive an oldie then too. Yesterday it was raining so hard I drove the O/T GMC Duramax :(.

Had Project 40 out and about all weekend. We’ve had great weather out in So-Cal lately!

Rocky, it is indeed Jerry Moreland’s 40 sedan. We just got it back together and back on the street again. It’s been out of sight for many years. Moreland helped us a bunch in getting everything back to the way it was.

No. I have three classic rods and I did not drive one of them...because I couldn't. One is getting a fresh big block. Another is apart for a front suspension rebuild. The third is suddenly giving me a misfire.

This is a first for me...not being able to take at least one of them out for a ride to go anywhere I want....

  19. I drove the '59 Ford all winter, didn't even bother putting the trickle charger on it. Gotta put on my game face on those close to zero days, but it is worth it.

No but I put both batteries in and fired up both hot rods. It is supposed to rain today and maybe wash the salt off the roads!:(

Mine is a total beater and gets used whenever the weather is halfway decent as it was yesterday. So...off to get some fast food and do a few errands. Nothing special, just stuff...

In short no. My carbs have never been rebuilt in all the years I've had the hemi (22)years so I kinda thought that might be the thing to do. Off to the right guy 3 weeks ago, ( local speed shop, with great guys). Couple a days and the guy Steve doing the thing calls and says, ("gonna cost as much to overhaul these as buying the new dual quad Edelbrock set up. After going down and checking this out he is right. So I orders them and they ain't here as of today. Not the shops fault though. Ya always pays your money and takes your chances when comes to Edelbrock orders, as I have it on good authority.
Must be coming by carrier pigeon and its a real long flight from So .Cal. to Seattle.
