Saw a post in the swap meet section by a Ford Barner named Andy in Columbus, Ohio for parts polishing. Looks like some beautiful work. Any feedback from anyone on him? He posted some great pictures, just don't see anyone commenting on his work or turn around. He quoted me a reasonable price to do a set of heads.

I'm thinking that is Andy Tants and he did my valve cover for my 292 after I screwed up and ordered it in Raw as cast rather than polished.
Top two photos are the "before" photos I sent him to get a quote.
Last one is after I pulled it out of the box when he sent it back.
This was a new in the box valve cover but he had his work cut out for him and did an excellent job. IMG_1888.JPG IMG_1886.JPG IMG_2019 (2).JPG

Really can't comment on Andy, but if you are looking for someone to polish some heads, I can recommend J & S Polishing in Colorado Springs-he did a bunch of stuff for me, including a set of heads (and they came out beautifully)-he has a Facenook page with photos-

    Mr48chev,
I bought the same valve cover, rough cast as you did. My polish guy said he will match the price difference between the raw and polished version from Tom Lowe.
I haven't sent it to him yet as I had to clearance the reliefs around the bolt holes. All worked out for the best, but I was kinda disappointed that the brand new cover needed work.
I'll post up mine when it's done. I may opt for a VERY smooth satin finish.

What sort of $$$ to get one head polished over there?

I am sorry, I don't recall the exact number as he did a bunch of stuff for me- what I do remember is that it was a bunch cheaper than I expected- give him a call- he'sa great guy and will quote prices

Mine was pretty close to the difference in the raw and polished prices from 12 bolt Tom.
