He is collecting bits and pieces for the project. He has so much stuff going on with school that he is always busy. He asked about it the other day.

They moved the Coker cruise to Camp Jordan. We went out to get in the wagon and it would not run

Did you get tied up in that 20 mile long traffic standstill? That was the worst traffic jam I have ever seen, and I am old!

Pulling it on a trailer. I will probably be hauling Darrin and Duck’S stuff as well. Duck bought a roadster that he is planning on driving. His is the primered one.

 

Don, if you want to go next year, why not plan on coming a day early and spend the night at our house? Free meal, the wife and I are both damn good cooks, get a good nights sleep, leave my house at 7:15, arrive at the show around 8:00 and miss all the mess on I 75. We're only 25 miles from Camp Jordan and I don't go anywhere near I 75 going in there.

 

I have to admit, in all my years going to shows, that was the worse traffic jam i had ever been in. Started on I24 coming in. found out they had very bad crash there,Then I75 South was stopped.
But I'll try it again. I think a whole lot more than they were anticipating show up.We were going to try to miss the traffic on I24 west, I got lost from a group. took quite the excursion though the hills of north Ga for a while.Got into Huntsville right at 9:00 p.m. and the mother of all rain storms hit.
Lots of cool cars. Lots of old friends i had't seen in a couple years. Still a very good Saturday.Spent time with friends. They have a year to work out Parking /traffic/entrance woes.I'm sure they will!

I worked on stuff all weekend. The wife’s daily yesterday and cleaned some in the garage today and piddled on the Vette as well.
