In just about all of the other photos that I have seen of Lombardo's 'vette it is running Cragar S/S wheels. Although the spoke and cap design in the photo look like the Hurst wheels the rim is wrong. It is a pity that this question did not come up before last year's NHRR event at Bowling Green as Larry was one of the honorees and I could have asked him while we were chatting after the ceremonies.

I AM NOT SURE ONE OR TWO MAY BE REPOSTS. WHEN I SAVED THEM TO THE FILE I HAVE ON A FLASHDRIVE NONE SAID THAT THEY WERE ALREADY THERE.
BUT I PROBABLY HAVE SAVED 5 OR 6 THOUSAND OFF OF HERE AND OTHER PLACES AROUND THE WEB :)

Are those hot rods? They look stock to me.

  14. I hear what you're saying and I truly get it. Having said that, a 327/350 or a 327/365 coupled to a 4spd is a hot rod. Having owned several of them, I can assure you of that. In "stock" form, it's a wolf in sheep's clothing!

I confess, they are bone stock.
I didn't know where to put them and there were some other stock models already posted here so I just put them up. Let me know if you want me to delete them. Sorry if I screwed up.

    A '63 Corvette ragtop weighing 3,000 pounds equipped with a 327/340,
a 4 speed and 3:70 gears is a hot rod.

  17. Any car with a "Vette motor" is a hot rod.
