Im working on a 49 and 50 chevy fleetline looking for some custom , chopped cars lets see them thanks, first one is mine 2nd pic is one im leaning on Sent from my SM-S727VL using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I hope to finish mine similar to this one someday, I'm not crazy about the tail lights, planning on vertical frenched 49 ford tail lights in mine.
I have always like the 49 through 52 just the way they came from the factory. They had a real classic fat fender look to them in the original condition. Jimbo
2 3/4 inch chop, channeled 6 inches, firewall moved back 10 inches, engine setback 9 inches, suicide door, rolled rear pan, reshaped rear wheel well openings, reshaped rear fenders ( front and back ) build thread ……………..https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...-you-have-no-idea-what-you-are-doing.1131278/
49-50 Fleetlines are my hands-down all-time favorite car. The stock lines are close to perfect; a mild chop just puts the icing on the cake. One of these days I'll find one.
I have never been a big fan of fleetline's but I have always had a soft spot for Dave Spears "Angel Eyes"
The white on this one makes the car. Really cool! I'd like to to see an interior shot, it looks blue. Is the dash white? I think I'd have to do a white interior, or at least white inserts. Hopefully it has the white inserts. The taillights are bad ass.
Yeah, if you told me about this car’s paint colors I wouldn’t like it but there is something about the total package that really pops!!! Neat car!!!!
Not a negative post but this was a particularly interesting thread below in celebration of this style you are working on...hard to go wrong with these classic beauties... Have fun with your project @IndBandit https://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=37407
