My first 327, loving it so far. (Though I kinda wish I put a sniper efi on instead of a Holley 4bbl .)

My old thread coming up again! I'd post mine, but sadly it looks the same as when I started this thread. Man, I need to get off my ass...

I see no reason to wait until March.

Slightly connected, these S&S 1&3/4" chassis headers are for 32-34's, I have them on my roadster, I have another set of the same ones that I modified to fit in my very low 327 powered 67 Nova.

Here is a mid 60's 327 out of a vette we borrowed when we first built the Hilltown Shaker. it was bone stock 350 hp 327, i added the magneto , fuel injection , and zoomie headers, it ran 10.78 at 123 in our 1900 lb altered . Once our race motor was done we gave it back to the fellow with the vette project, to the best of my knowledge it is still sitting in his garage where we put it back

Can't show you pretty,(or finished)! But, here is my 327 on the stand waiting for a rebuild. I am tired of that Grandma 350/auto in the 55. Going back with this motor and an M21 4 speed. Good cam, big valve heads, heck, I may even do a thread on it. 327 long block.jpg 20200327_070231.jpg

My 57' Chevy in 1968, fresh 327 out of a 64’ Vette, L79 cam, cleaned everything. Back then chrome plating was cheap. 4 speed, 3:08 rear later went to 3:73. Fun car! Paid $160.00 and drove her home! image00000289.jpeg image00000923.jpeg

    Here we go again....
No progress on the engine, but the car is starting to come together. Hopefully it will move under its own power later this year

here is one I looked at earlier this week. This is as far as I could get the hood up. It is supposed to be a 300 hp engine. It is in a 66 Impala. It is really rusty but all of the trim and interior except the front seat has been stored indoors for years upon years. I am going to buy it and keep the engine and part the rest out.
