    Those valve covers were also used on the 67 Z/28 302's, 67 L79 327's and 67 Camaro SS 350's.

I started with Anniversary Gold, but it was too yellow against the maroon that I plan to use. I mixed a little maroon with it and darkened it up a little .I think it looks closer to Aztec gold now. Bill

Mine again after a winter upgrade. I swapped the power pack heads for double humps, a little bit hotter cam, C3Bx intake and M/T valve covers. I have a duel point distributor to go in, too. 010.JPG

I just picked one up, to use in my '40 PU. It replaces a fresh 283 that I had planned for the project. IMG_1321.JPG

My 327 is a numbers matching 300 HP thats now .060 over with TRW domed forged pistons, Fuelie 202 heads, Comp Cams XE262H cam and valve springs, headers, balanced with a Holley 670 CFM Street Avenger carburetor. Couldn't be any happier with its performance with a Muncie M21 and a 3.73 positraction rear. Really pulls through all rpm ranges and has a ground pounding idle. IMG_0647.JPG

Gman, your 63 is one of my faves here on the HAMB, I bet that is a lot of fun.
I never took engine photos but with a good imagination one can picture the stock (and tired) 250 horse 327 in this Impala I owned a long ago. The car was not very inspiring to drive with the three speed column shift so I did a complete stock appearing Muncie changeover and I gotta say it totally woke that car up.

A buddy of mine and I got a matched pair out of a boat, both had been rebuilt and .040 over, I got the one that was reverse rotation. It's getting freshened up, with a 260 Erson camshaft, and this Edelbrock tri-power, along with a set of fenderwell headers. Should make a nice package with a Saginaw 3 speed on the column. 25. The engine of choice in our garage, we have a few 327's powering our cars.

The motor in Miss Taboo is a 66 327. Bored 30 over, full race isky cam (no clue on specs been in there for decades), camel hump 1.94's and topped with 6x2's

    IMG_0188[1].JPG

The next 327 is my grandparents 55 Chevy. Its a 65 block, bored 30 over, forged pop up pistons, Comp Extreme Synergy cam, 1.6 roller rockers in stock 1.94 heads, topped with a fully chromed out tri power set up. This motor moves!

    IMG_0187[1].JPG

Last 327 is the one powering my 68 Camaro as this is the original motor for the car. Its still a true 327, never bored and didnt need it when i had it out. Original crank, rods and pistons. Factory 2.02 camel humps, Z/28 30/30 cam, factory over the counter 69 Z/28 style aluminum intake with a correct looking Holley carb.

    IMG_0186[1].JPG

All engines assembled and detailed in the garage, its one of my favorite things to do on a restoration.

  27. Both are 327 Turbo-Fire valve covers. The later ones have a deeper V. Funny they were throwaways when I was a kid now that I want some they are higher than a cats back. LOL

I got a 327 that is a factory stroker. Does that count?
