They look like old American 200s "daisy" wheels. Although there were copy cat wheels made at that time. Americans had script written on the back side of the wheel.

American Racing 200 S wheels. I believe the two piece version was only made in 16” for easy mounting of wide slicks.

  4. i'm thinking the OP wants to know if they are magnesium or not

I will correct my earlier statement, they were not sold as 200 S even though the spokes look the same. The two piece wheels were marketed as the 2S, were only manufactured in a 16 x 10 size and were magnesium.

There was a set for sale at CHRR 2 years ago for $1300 if my fading memory is correct. Cool wheel and pretty rare.

Looking at the FED and the original post looks to me like they made more than one size.

  11. I no longer have my American Racing catalogs but if I remember correctly they made 2 different back spacings and if you switched the halves around you could make different sizes. I've owned both in the past but like the catalogs they're long gone so I can't verify the sizes

Here is a shot of a deep flange pair on Richie Broughton's top fuel car. This pair are still around as spares for Ernie Broughton's re-creation of this car
