Well #9 has been and gone. Big thanks to all that came. We had a great day. Thanks to Dave for cooking and Wayne for the awesome poster. PART_1553232779467.jpeg

20190323_112443.jpg Only stop was at the Mill at Castlemaine. It's a sort of artisan market and cafe spot in an old woollen mill

Really like the " Give Way " sign. Sounds so much better than " Yield ". Lot of nice cars on what looks like a very good day. Don't recognize all of them but Striper's really stand out. Glad you all had fun.

  5. I look forward to your annual coverage, it looks like you had a good turn out this year. HRP

You could have stopped at the old Secondary College and seen the photographs taken at Lake Gairdner. On display as part of the Castlemaine State Festival. Looks like you had a great day out.

@flatoz or @PEDDRO Is (or was) the 39 Chev roadster a Hamilton bros car from the Shepparton region many years ago?

Looks like a great run, and fantastic weather to go with it.

  13. I called into the Hamiltons nearly 40 yrs ago .......they had some cars then..........lol............anyone know what happened to the 1940 Oz Dodge/Plymouth Coupe with the ugly 4 headlight custom front? .....or the Oz 1938 Dodge/Plymouth 5 window Coupe.......both cars were very rare Oz versions..........Andy Douglas

Simon, didn't know it was on. This was just a coffee and toilet stop.
Mark, not sure where it came from. I'll ask the owner

Mark, current owner told me he recently bought it from a guy in Bendigo and had known about it for some time before it came up for sale. It is body#65 and he also has #63 and #1 out of -I think-88 that were built.

Yes it is, Andy said at the weekend that it was for sale and he's got an Aussie 34-5 window coupe body to replace it.
