They didn't really build a lot of Marlins.
Probably no support for glass and other specific parts.

  7. I know. Really sad. This car could easily be saved and look really Boss cruising!

  8. No Rusty, It had old skinny white wall slicks on it. There were more old slicks stacked beside it. He took it off the road in 1972 to rebuild the 327 and never got back to it. Sad. 20190311_143140.jpeg 20190311_143423.jpeg

  9. There is a "killer" red Marlin that usually attends the Goodguy's Columbus, OH show. I got to check it out closely in the parking lot of the motel where I stayed. Cool car that you don't see very often!

  10. My good pal hates those Marlins. I think they are really cool looking cars. To each his own I guess.:)

  11. I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen this. I grew up 1 mile away from it and have driven past it regularly for the last 47 years. Plus it's only 1/4 mile off the hiway. I guess the snow and trees were just right for me to finally see it. I'l be picking it up after the area dries up enough.

  15. Marlins look like oversized early Barracudas. Big fish, little fish.

Bleache's photo two posts up...That was a super cool place to visit, a mecca of old stuff. I was there once and Mr. Hartung said something like "How do you like the Indian" while pointing at something right in front of me. There was so much stuff I could not even see the bike from 2' away.

Although in really crappy buildings, the stuff above ground was somewhat protected and in good shape. That was a helluva auction!
