I am a little biased,
I believe the Chev Bel Air Sport Coupe for 61 was one of the finest designed cars, almost, of all time, far nicer than the Impala, now why would someone whack a rectangular block on the front, who knows, maybe they were on a trip or something.

admire the handiwork but its all about lines and proportions isnt it ???

 

I love the 61's but it wouldn't matter what color it was that makes me sick

 

Another example of why some people will never be considered automotive designers and would have been better off taking up something like needlepoint
