How many of you remember that old "Laguna Greeter"? Yep, he used to stand in the street waving at each passing car, most times his pants were wet from no bladder control.--------This was in 1951 & later too.

What's holding that one up the guy is leaning on? I can just picture "BOOM!", then "Oops...sorry" after this picture taken.

Back in the day when they thought be thrown or jumping from the car was safer then seat belts even though seatbelts had been used in WWII aircraft. Most sports car racing didn’t use seat belts until late 50’s to early 60’s. I suppose it was also a macho thing to do.

I'm gonna take a guess that this photo is in Fullerton, Ca. Looking north on Harbor Blvd, at Commonwealth.Street sign on the right says the City of Los Angeles straight ahead with the City of Placentia to the east and the City of Buena Park to the west. The airport is west of this intersection which was built in the early 1920's and is still there and very active.

Very well could be. Although the Fox Theater is not visible (on Chapman/Harbor) a few blocks up. You can see the trees at Hillcrest Park. Harbor Blvd used to be Spadra Blvd.
