Technical Ford -34 Windshield frame

    I need to get a new windshield glass in the frame. What is the right way to diassembly the frame to get the glass in?
    Can someone help me before i broke something!!

    In each bottom corner there are L brackets inside the frame tube. These brackets have four small screws holding them in, and you remove the small screws on the sides to slide the bottom of the frame away from the upper portion.

    Note that these screws are probably very rusty, and might not come out easily. I bet more of them have been drilled out than removed as Henry intended. You might need to drill and then fish out the remainder when it's all apart. Or maybe even make new L brackets.

    This....exactly. Pull the hinges off from the top and separate the windshield frame from the header, you'll see the screws Alchemy is talking about.

    The frame is now separated, and yes i have to fabricate new L-brackets and fix some rust issues......
