  2. You are not alone! I don't mind chopping, channelling, or moving metal, but I always sent my stuff out for finishing. I also hate working with fibreglass. you have my sympathy, but I know you are going to get it done and do a superb job. I can't wait to see the videos of the FED on the track this year.

Carl, just wondering, have you ever thought about filling your block at least partially with something to avoid the catastrophic break down that you just had. I've been listening to your motor when racing for the last couple of years and it really sounds good. It really wants to make HP. It dropped off a bit with the new injection but once you get that straightened out its going to really want to go. More HP may need a stronger block,. Just thinking. It will also help keep the heads on and stop blowing head gaskets. Of course , I'm just talking, I'm sure you know all this.

  8. it is filled, with blockroc origionally but apparently it didn't get into the all voids, used aluminum to fill those parts this time, so we will see how long it will last, but if it doesn't have a seven port we are working on to replace it, it will be filled with aluminum and 322ci, he says with a grin.:D

I believe that Carl already has the block filled with something. Dang Carl, you must have been typing while I was.

LOL So true! When I was building my avatar the UPS guy delivered so many times he finally said, "I gotta see what you're building". I'd just finished assembling the 429 and he said, "Now I know why your stuff is so heavy."
