Quick is that Hayseed in the 61 photo?

The Jim Long midyear is a pretty good looking car. I imagine early 70s when Sam Gianino was involved a bit more heavily in the engine business.

I seem to remember the red 57 as the subject of an inquiry by a gentleman from Canada on to the potential provenance of it's drag racing career. Never heard the final verdict.

Enloe as much as I am a fan of Duntov I would rather know the story on the car. Unless my eyes are deceiving me it appears he put some 58 style hood louvers to interrupt the air on the forward part of the hood and removed the front bumpers. It has a three point bar so they wanted to race it (or test it at the very least).
