Just a short note and a couple of pics of the 41 Packard Jr taillights Ive been fiddling with. In the lower pic is the old holes photoshopped. Much easier than welding :p
Also did a frenching and some holefilling up front but not yet finished...and I got it two more inches closer to the ground out back. Hoping for a more speedboat-ish stance. I havent jacked it down on its wheels yet so I really dont know how it flows...or goes [IMG]

An elegant yet simple custom touch.

Looks good. I’m looking for ideas on my 48 convertible.

Looks good. Thats one of the better fitting trunks I have seen on one of those coupes.

Way back to my earliest memories 49-50 Lincoln taillights were a favorite swap.

If it were me for better symmetry I'd have the pointed ends of the tail lights facing outboard instead of inboard.

Those new tail lights make the car look wider and lower.
Turning them around as suggested by Gman would
make the car look even better as your eye sight flows from the pointed end.
Flip them around and see how it looks to you.. Good choice.

Yes. I was thinking about that but then new, flatter glasses was needed because the "square" end prouts out too much. made it look strange. Might redo them anyway. I`ll see what I`ll do about it. Heres an old 46-48 custom with the same taillights only set a bit lower, and with the pointy end turned inwards, like mine, So...atleast I can say it has been done "back then" anyway :D:
