Nice thread Don. I can add one to the mix. BTW do you have any idea of how many meeting those qualifications have been posted in total? Would be nice to a number count.

I own one and am currently building it. The panel below the trunk and floors are Brookville. I also had to repair the bottom of both doors. Beyond that it is all original.

my rod 2.jpg Ok here's mine. During it's time it had a different dash grafted in. It only took me 25 years to finally identify the dash as a 1927 or 28 Oakland Pontiac.

A 4cyl (burgundy one)that hadn't seen the light of day since the early 1980's.Found in Nimes in the south of France 4 months ago.Sold new in Paris .The wheels and tires on it was to get it to move around easier. The blue one is a V8 and still has the orig 32 V8 in it.Its here in the south also. Both escaped the war.

WOW!------Many years have passed since I started this thread! Lots of neat pix & stories too!
Sure miss 'ol DEUCE RANDY!!, he was the source of lots of info!
At 86, I have driven my '32 roadster down to my son's in SOCAL & it will remain there for him to enjoy along with his son (my grandson). Then I can fly down each year for the LAR show & swap, pick up my roadster, drive it to Pomona & help with registering open cars for our show. See you there! IMG952605.jpg

Passing your roadster on to your son is outstanding. One day I will be doing the same but for now my son has to wait a bit longer. Im still driving the wheels off the car been doing it for 45 years so far and hope to do so for another couple of decades. Keeping our roadsters in the family it dose not get any better than that.

Missed you at the Southern Oregon Deuce run this year. Lots of fun as usual. Next year will be the last at Scott and Dianne’s hometown of Medford. Maybe you can make it.

It wasn't Henry Ford you know in reality it was Edsel's 32 Ford.
    Give Edsel the credit.

    Hey DDD,

That is a great photo at a great location. Your ride in the 32 roadster would have been pretty nice, even with jackets. This state beach and campgrounds is one of the best places in So Cal. "Secos" is the name everyone goes by in the surfing circles. (Leo Carrillo State Beach, Park and Campground.) Leo Carrillo used to own this whole area and willed it to California after his death. Lucky for all of us in So Cal.

That giant rock at "Secos" is a great take off area when the waves are "pumping." The highway here is a wonderful coastal cruising area...one of the best in California. Hot rods, surf vehicles, family station wagons, cruisers, all will be seen if you are on this stretch of highway sooner or later. The coastal drive through this area from Oxnard and the Pt. Mugu down through "Secos," South to Malibu is one of the nicest cruises that should be on anyone's itinerary while in the LA area. We have been down that highway a zillion times since 1960 and it never gets old...
