It has radius rods tied to the center trans mount plus an additional bar from the rear end to the cross member
Is it the camera lens or are the front tires toed out??? Please measure from the centers of tire treads (or the edges of tires, left-to-right, fronts of front tires vs. rears of front tires. Should be 1/8 of an American inch 'toe-in'. "Toein' IN, Son..."
I believe I saw the "radius rods" in the early pictures. Not sure what your describing as "additional bar", but if it's like a Panhard rod (running transversely), my comments are still applicable. If it's a fore-and-aft link from the top of the diff housing to the chassis (preferably near the transmission crossmember), I would no longer have a comment, except to say you should have something to preclude lateral movement of the rear (e.g., Panhard bar).
I'll concede a Panhard may not be necessary, but if there is no additional fore-and-aft link, besides the two that are clear from the pictures, then this suspension is like a 4 parallel-link design, with the top links left out. This also results in a high bending stress level where the perch is welded to the axle housing, if there are no gussets on the perch plate.
It has one, exaclty as you describe it. il snap a pic next time im in the shop Until then, dug deeper and found rediculous slop in the timing chain.. So new set of gears and chain on. Clutch going in and should have it back on the road weds with NO leaks! Stay tuned
Thanks for the offer! Next season i think il do a lake style header that wraps down beside the framerail The flexpipe will get header wrap and stay for now...
Fair enough! Keep at er. It's come a long way since I saw it in the basement. Could cut up the stripper pole and build pipes with that! Lol
No leaks!!! Header wrap tomorrow, and will be able to take it out for a spin, then off to get the top done properly, That should be the next update
Got the top painted up and finally getting it covered tomorrow-ish Should be back on the road for the weekend Then i just need to put the new tires on in the rear and il be done for now besides small stuff
