Several weeks ago I posted that I was having a Carburetor problem and I received a ton of replys, the thread went in several directions but after another rebuild & drilling 2 small holes in the butterflys the car runs like a top, I posted that in the thread although I didn't retitle the thread that it was fixed. I try to give credit where credit is due, a lot of advice that could probably help others in the future. HRP
I have some extra answers lying around that I need to use up before they get stale......... - Marvel Mystery Oil - Looks like a '38 Dodge - 2-part basecoat - Ford MOTOR Company, General MOTORS - I'll be there in the Swap Meet section Now you just have to fill in the questions.
Life, my friend is like a roll of toilet paper... either you're on a roll or your taking crap from some A-hole. HRP
I don't think the good lord intended for us to understand women. You can't live with them and can't live without them either.
Seems like a good spot to also mention that good old fashioned step-by-step tech threads posted here have helped a lot of builders walk their way through things they've never done before, and I hope to see those get popular again in the future. In 2005 I made a thread on swapping 2 door sedan doors and door pillars onto my former 4 door 60 Plymouth and I know of several cars which were converted the same way later on, and the builders told me they saw my thread and were inspired by that. I'm pretty proud of that, even 14 years later.
I feel bad now for not coming back with the solution to the problem I posted years ago. I was having a problem with getting my car finished without much money. I found the problem.....it was my wife.....I got rid of her and now the problem is solved. Next problem.....I am lazy.....what to do???
What do you think this is......Jeopardy! Funny thing, last night Alex gave an answer (don't remember the question), I really was surprised I knew the answer.
You Guys Fixed The Problem So Well That The Person Who Asked The Question Is Out Driving Their Hot Rod And Does Not Have Time For The Key Board...Well Done...
A slow Sunday morning! We're that advanced downunder, it's already Monday morning and we've already answered the question before it's been thought of.
If you help someone out when they're in need they will remember you, next time they're in need! Unfortunately all too often this is the way of the modern world.
I’m probably guilty of it too. But I do often go back to older threads to see if things got solved. I promise to report back on my torque converter issue as soon as I get it sorted Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I got interested in late 50s style hotrods in the late 50s, that was before I got interested in girls. I have been single and MGTOW for about 17 years...and now have a 50s style hotrod daily driver.>> "some things are forever"...(and it ain't diamonds). .
Maybe they are too embarrassed to admit that their car won't start because they put their battery in the boat last summer.
