Anyone have experience (good, bad or ugly) with this? Pictures and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
friend done it and hated it. pain in ass to adjust plus hood is always in way working on engine. looks good for show. not practical for use.
A guy I knew in California back in '70 had an F1 that had a tilting front end, not just the hood. Worked real good to cover up the 394 Olds. Hinges were hidden and it easy for one guy to open it.
There's a guy in Colorado Springs that has a green 50 that was done well. He's on here sometimes. His truck was chopped and has the hood pancaked. He had a build thread a few years ago but I don't remember where I saw it.
In the '90s the kits were made from Mercedes parts they worked real well. I like a hood that tilts forward unless the engine is a FoMoCo and has the distributer on the front. LOL
