    Go to your local welding supply : Their version of a "Dye Check Kit" will be one hell of a lot cheaper, &, once you learn how to use it properly, will be just as effective for most tests, with the advantage of not being limited to ferrous metals, unlike Magnaflux, which is.

    Been using dye-pen for years..handy cause its portable..magnaflux way more accurate.either way its nothing but a heartbreaker..

    I did not know HRDeluxe needed filler to waste up print space about me and some car that is not a roadster or coupe ;)

    For what it's worth they spoke highly of Mr. Wilson and the Heap; had some pictures too!

    pulled my head for preventive maintaince , forgot how much you have to disconnect to do that . lots of time …. steve

    Quick question regarding the single lock adjustable tappets... does any modifications need to be done to the block? Specifically, does the tappet guide need to be shortened in order to make room to put tools on the adjustable tappet?

    if you want to be able to adjust them without the rolling motor back & forth , yes cut the lifter blocks so lifters have clearance to adjust . much better than rolling motor back & forth to adjust .
