You sure didn’t waste any time getting those updates done!!!!

The little changes really look good and took the car up to the next level!!!! I like it a lot.

I like the maroon on the car now. Black would look good too. I’m not crazy about the gold metal flake in the black.

If it was mine I’d keep the maroon. If I rebuilt the whole car, full restoration, that’s when I’d do a color change. However I’d probably stay with the maroon.

  5. Reinstalled the top and added new taillights. Wife says the old ones were too dark. IMG_20190301_130927.jpeg IMG_20190301_130935.jpeg IMG_20190301_130918.jpeg

Tell me more about the taillights.
Mine are original and I painted the inside bright silver.

I didn't believe it at first, but painting inside of lights white is better than silver

  14. Hi. Those are Brookville LED replacement taillights. I tried new housing, lens, and different designs/bulbs. Wife just wasn't happy with the brake light brightness. These look pretty original and are very bright. Nick

  18. I just see a big mix of periods, simplify, keep it simple and clean, in my opinion (And yes I said it) change the wheel , lose the side pipes and change the air cleaners and that car could look HOT. Just and "Old Farts" thoughts. BigO

  19. Those look nice too! I have a nice pair of Corvette cleaners to add if I want to change the look. IMG_20180511_093918.jpeg IMG_20180405_195425.jpeg

  20. I really appreciate your comments! Please keep following this thread.... I've got different wheels, I'm sanding the lettering on the tires, a new interior to install, chrome headers with exhaust under the car, and many other changes to make! This is an outstandingly well built car. I'm so very excited to change it a bit to suit my style. Here's a few inspiration pics! tapatalk_1537862490590.jpeg tapatalk_1537862494833.jpeg tapatalk_1543998934586.jpeg IMG_3501.jpeg

I like everything you've done so far. Cool that your changing things and making it your own, that's what Hot Rodding is all about. I agree with some of the previous posts, 5 spokes would look bitchin. Here's mine. IMG_1791.JPG
