Man that's one ugly truck! But I saw on IG that it holds a secret. Good score!

  2. Wow, lots of nice cars and projects. All I BOUGHT was a garage package and put it up at our cabin so that I can work on projects while there, and I SAVED my sanity by retiring last June.

Since I got the new compressor up and running I invested in a new TP sand blast cabinet. Can't wait for it to show up.

Going to be a much more productive year.

IMG_1673.JPG Not sure if I saved these Studebaker Hawks but I moved them from one place to another. The 58 Hawk frame is under my 53 and the dash will go there also. That 58 IMG_0547.JPG body is now sitting on the 53 frame with a straight axle destined to be a race car.

Did you save the car, or did the car save you?

Sold my 46 Coupe and bought this 30 Model A. Needs a little fixing here and there but I am having fun working on it when I can.

I got out of old cars for a while to build old bikes, but I never lost the itch. Decided to pick up this 52 Chevy Styleline Sport Coupe Deluxe a few months ago. Going to do a full ground up mild custom. Currently blasted and undergoing metal surgery while I build a parts stash.

    I'm saving my son's '65 Ranch Wagon, while trying to get my own '63 Riviera and '59 T/bird done. 51917036_10219196985818111_5572919400287174656_n.jpg 52071546_10219188375682863_7805944215409524736_n.jpg 51202997_10218990003443681_2318294239663882240_n.jpg 51522721_10219136048014704_5633202255583772672_n.jpg 46463910_10218488360742927_421429239124852736_n.jpg

I am in the process of picking at a hoarders place. 94 Year old guy is in a home and the family needs to clean out "stuff" in order to sell. The Gentlemen was a Hershey vendor since the 70s. Basement is loaded with 20s-40s Mopar parts and a bunch of tin trucks etc. I will post pics at some point. I am told the back yard was stuffed with sheet metal parts and rear ends. All that went to the junk yard in the fall. Garage still has parts and I intend on going back as many times as I can afford. It would make you puke to hear what was scrapped. Upstairs of the house is packed with vintage newspapers and car related magazines etc. I havent been up there yet. Just lucky someone thought of me and asked to let me take a peak.

Killer looking car. What are the drivetrain and suspension details? That car sits perfect.

  21. Unfortunately it has a 350/350 setup, I'd rather have a Ford setup, front suspension is independent . Rides nice, sounds appropriate, everything looks new and professionally done, couldn't be happier. Thanks.

That's great, I've had the opportunity to do some similar stuff in the last couple of years and I know it can be a drain on time and money but it's really worth doing if there's good stuff left to save. Would be a shame for all that stuff to have survived that long just to go into a dumpster or scrap bin.

  25. Wont post a pic but scored a super clean and rust free 68 C10 this year to build into a parts hauler/work truck. My grandfather then had to have a C10 and dragged home a 71 a week later, lol.

  27. I snagged this old heap in January. I haven't done much with it. Maybe next year I'll have a chance to work on it a little bit. 3716A660-6BB4-4D6A-ADED-8916DD278ED3.jpeg 67f621eb142822b25210990e16df8158.jpg
