Bored or punched? As in, "he don't know if it's bored or punched"

Oh man...I see so many things that could be done with the wordings in this post......if someone was to rearrange the words a bit...and they would still be slang terms ...just telling a totally different story....but it wouldn't be hot rod related...damn...its sitting right there...man... then with the name "Purdy Swoft" worked in with the rest of the words...oh..the possibilities....

"I took it out and 'blew the cobs out of it' and it runs lots better now." I haven't heard that for some time, I guess because modern OHV/OHC , injected and computerized cars don't tend to carbon up and soot up like the carbureted stuff we used to (I still do) drive. A guy brought some multi-wire carbon scrapers to the Model A meeting a couple years ago and asked what they were for. Only one guy knew.

Bremerton Raceway, operated by the "Handler's Racing Association", since 1959. When I was a member, no one knew what "Handler's" meant. I had to bring with me to a meeting, the Sox and Martin Book of Drag Racing. In the back of the book was a section of "terms". Turns out, a "handler", was the driver of a car, hence the name. One of our announcers at the time, always said, "look at how well those guys "handle" the brooms", when we were cleaning up an oil down. Going into the 60th year now at Bremerton Raceway!!! I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

IDK. But a vagina sitting on some patina is good. Patina on a vagina, not good.

How about "tomb" and "comb".....absolutely makes no sense. But then I'm not planning on having a comb in my pocket when I'm in the tomb.
Fawnicks almost killed me in grade school. :(

I made thru the hole thread heres a few..... I have heard shard down on it I believe from spinning out in gravel ….. another friend who is gone but not forgotten would say "Tennessee go fasters" for mud flaps & "Tennessee jack stand" for a wheel & tire . ... coolbeans Dad used to say that thing doesn't have enough power to pull a sick whore off a piss pot .. . Mom would say come on Nelly Belle to every car she ever drove. Roy Rogers Jeep reference …. Doing a state boy for sliding from one direction to another .easier with a hand brake between the seats may have just been a local term.... had to laugh when I read blewey pipes . Got an 80 year old buddy that uses that term.. I thought he was the only one.
