Getting the 69 Olds 350 engine ready for my 41 Olds. I would like to put the oil pressure switch at the stock front location and find a place on the rear for the 41 mechanical gauge connection . Has anyone tried drilling and tapping the oil filter housing for an oil pressure connection ?
Hi. Nice looking ride. Drilling could be risky as you could tap into about anything. Why not use the front location and screw a brass T into the block and run both from same location. Good luck, Jimmie
I prefer not to run copper tubing all the way to the front of the engine. The 394 I pulled out had the oil pressure port on the oil filter adapter tucked away on right rear bottom.
