Projects SEGA A/FX Build

We decided to take our 65 Falcon A/FX style car off of the street and make changes to it to go racing with the South East Gassers in the A/FX class, this will include, changing the wheels, going from coilovers in the front to leaf springs, changing the traction bars, sub frame connectors, wheelie bars and safety improvements, also going from 2- 4 barrels to mechanical fuel injection.

I added shock mounts, wheelie bar brackets and a brace to the rear end.

Got the fuel tank mount made and the windshield cut and clekoed in.

Nice work on a good looking car. Always loved the look of those cars.

 

Rules say cover up rivets or bolts if windshield isn't factory so we put the trim back on and glued some weather striping in to cove up the rivets.
