Thank you for the update - the "LIKE" button does not seem appropriate. I was at the Zip-Tie Drags when he had the accident. He has been in the back of my mind ever since.
This is t-rod, himself. I'm grateful my son kept everyone informed, and I'm grateful CRH posted the link. The story aired Friday. I discharged from the hospital in November. My right arm past my shoulder and both my legs, ankle to crotch, are grafted. My left hand and right fingers were left in Arizona. I don't walk fast, but better than the couldn't walk from a few months ago. Thank you everyone for your support and kindness. Bad decisions make good stories.

T-rod, great to know that you made it "back"! Health and Family are Everything, praying that you continue to do great things. Carry on, Sir.
Glad you are carrying on Mark. I was looking for Jocelyn's Facebook page to see how you and your beautiful family are doing, but I couldn't find anything. God willing you will recover further and enjoy this thing we call life. Larry.
Glad to hear your healing up ,you should be proud of your son for keeping your friends here informed. in the end family is whats important .
Kickass, that you're here posting. Wishing you all the best! Sent from my LG-TP450 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
t-rod: Congratulations man you are the greatest to overcome that accident. Wishing all the best for continued recovery. What a fine family.
While I was away, she posted often for everyone to see. Recently, she changed the setting to private, so that's probably why you didn't find it. Bad decisions make good stories.
t-rod... !!! Jeez, man...my heart's in my stomach right now. So sorry this happened. I just saw this. Kind of timely though, because I got to see that you posted. I wish words had healing power...I'd give ya the very best ones I could think of. Crap...a few tears here, too. But it sounds like you're strong in spirit and you're gonna be ok. Good man. God bless you. I mean it. And your loved ones too.
I deserve no credit, haven't been on the HAMB much since 2010. I simply had to salute you, Mr. t-rod, and your family, after reading the KSL article. These heavy duty trials/tests/tragedies we experience in life are refining fires. Kudos to you and your strength!
I respect the gravity with which you make your statement, and I have to admit, when I first read it, my first thought was "fires, haha!" Hand jokes are hilarious, too! Bad decisions make good stories.
Really, humor has been a pillar to get us through this. And, our family tends to go a little dark. For instance, my son renamed the car "the roaster". My favorite is this; my partner arrived at the hospital in Phoenix about the same time I did. The doctor was getting medical history from her." Any drug use?" "No, never." "Alcohol?" "Nope." "Was he ever a smoker?" "Just the one time." Bad decisions make good stories.
T-Rod. Your last post made me laugh and cry at the same time. Family means everything and you have a strong bonded family.
t-rod, I've followed your progress on JH's FB page since your son posted about your accident here a year ago. It's hard to fathom the difficult experiences you've been through. We at Hot Rod Works wish you continued health and progress in your recovery.
Then, I suspect you saw her post on the one year anniversary of the wreck. Bad decisions make good stories.
The horrible and tragic downside of the drags. You survived and seem to be doing very well considering......my God, I can't imagine going through this. Get well man!!!
