Porter mufflers sound great, used a lot by the inline 6 guys.
What are you thinking of using them on?

 

Going to have them on my 48. They give the traditonal sound and not the "sounds like another early 70's Camaro" cruising down the street.

 

Got 'em on the heap in my avatar. It sounds fantastic, very 50's. If I can get it to stop hemorrhaging coolant, I'll be able enjoy the sound for a long drive.

 

What diameter exhaust do you have on the '40 Moriarity?

Have Porter mufflers on my 1939 Ford and 327 Chevy. Nice sound.

I have a pair of porters in an off topic c10 with a warmed up 350, and plan on using them with the straight 8 in the buick when i get to that point. They make the sound i like and are an all around nicely made product.
