Nice shoebox . A little tip for your rear slapper bars. Extend the front until they hit the front spring eye.
It makes them work better and that way it won't bend the front of your springs when you launch it.
Ran a Chevy 11 like yours in super stock years ago with a 283 4 barrel 4 speed . Very nice cars.

Yeah I know haha, when I put them on they were a little short, and was going to get longer ones because I didn't like how far back the snubber was sittings since it wasn't centered on the spring eye.

  3. Great tip on the spring-eye thing. It takes all the lever out of things... all fulcrum. My bars are set up away from the spring-eye, I'm not putting out enough HP to tweak my main leaf.

Figured I would update the project. Motor is in the car and wired up, this weekend the trans is going in. Tin work is basically done just need to polish the tubs then clear coat them. then finish the fire break above each tub. Trying to get the motor fired up soon before the cold weather starts. _DSC0015.JPG _DSC0020.JPG _DSC0022.JPG _DSC0018.JPG

Long Due for an update, as for the car, motor is in, runs nice. not under its own power yet. Was mocking up the aircleaner. I needed to message the hood alittle for fitment. will be putting a tunnel ran style scoop on from speedway. changing some things up with the plumbing on the front brakes, then putting the trans back in the car and getting her fitted for a driveshaft. Very cool! I always liked wagons, unique! What was the combination you were running?
