Hey there, found this old touring body and cant for the life of me figure out what it is. Looks kinda like an early Chevy but doesn't have the body line. Kinda looks like an Overland, but has squared doors.... Help! It has both doors and is cheap... 00c0c_if2fdqwd1ho_600x450.jpg

  3. Looks a lot like a 1924 Dodge Brothers body from what I see so far.... 1924 DB body.jpg

    Where’s the “it’s always a Dodge” guy?

Would anybody know where to get a passenger door for it?

  8. 20180410_175054.jpg If it's all steel then it is probably Dodge Brothers, they used full welded construction. If there is any woodframing, it's not Dodge. It does look very much like my 25 Dodge so that what Im saying. As for a door, good luck, been looking for a "good" passengers door for my 25 for a while with no luck, mine is kinda, really thin like tracing paper thin!! Mitch

The holes for the hood to firewall welting give it away as a Dodge.

Car doors from that era are really pretty easy to make. Study a similar door and you can see the nature of the pieces that comprise the door. There are books on sheet metal fabrication that can serve as a guide.
