Had hood final sanded, wiped down & paint mixed. (My very last splash of white)
I had just finished going over hood with tack cloth and heard something fall.

Don’t think paint store open today!

That pretty much kills it for this weekend unless I can get more paint and spray this morning.

  5. I hate it when that happens!
Great job on the truck, it'll be the best one on the planet when finished!

Paint store open! 677.97 $ later... absolutely nuts in paint prices. The wipe/prep is now illegal to sell in my county.

Do have color on! Wait a bit for clear.

Nice truck I do not understand why I get reamed for building a 66 Chevelle. And everyone says don't post about newer than 64. Have a great day I hope my Chevelle turns out as nice as your truck it's a shame no one will see it and can't ask any advice about it.

It’s because of change in design. ‘66 Chevelle was total different from ‘64.

The trucks like mine are same series 1961-66. Fenders, doors, hood same from 61-66.

Bucket seats were an available option back in 1964-66.

IMG_2779.JPG I am the third owner, my dad bought this truck from original owner and as far as I know the mustang console and the seat back are original equipment, I am wondering if other Ranger option trucks have these IMG_2779.JPG

The console is Falcon. It was a option on the Ranger Package. Not std equipment.

No clue what happened to all the pics!
Thought some might want to hear the 482" FE actually run. Nothing like a solid roller cammed FE in the sound department!
