Yes it is, after years of promising my wife a driving hot rod, Shug had this one and we cut a good deal, and she has driven it almost every day for going on three years.

I have always driven my cars as much as possible and sometimes out of necessity in all kinds of weather to work etc. Here are a few pics from over the years. The 33 BB isn't a hot rod, but it does have big and littles.. A w-camper.jpg A_pulling_black_pickup.jpg A_pulling_trailer.jpg 33_4-door.jpg 2003-2006.jpg

Today I went on the mid-week lunch run with 25 other cars and drove the Hudson. Last week it was the Sunday morning coffee run and took the Buick Riviera and a few weeks before that the roadster went out. The Hudson has some miles on it now especially since the trip last year to USA and driven from Oakland east to Detroit
(via R66, Dewey OK,St Louis MO, Auburn IN, Detroit), and then back west to Santa Maria for WKC Nationals.
    Still summer weather here.

I wish that I could drive mine more often. Winters in Mass. means roads that are slathered with snow and salt. When it is not snowing, the roadways are white with all the chemacles on them.

I wish I could drive my 1955 T-Bird, but since the body is not on the frame yet, I still have a lot of work to do! But yes, I drive my old cars all summer long.

as you can see below, we had light snow AGAIN last night, but I need to go out today for some new work shoes. I am not going to plow the upper driveway, I think I can get out with a running start uphill..supposed to get to 49F this afternoon... I hate winter

4 days ago on a 700 mile road trip , no bugs were left unharmed, well this was a reasonably clean screen as we were only a few 100 miles into our journey.

IMG_0209.PNG In 2011 I left my place with 21 miles on a fresh build and drove to Bonneville to experience the Salt. Had a few hiccups along the way but nothing serious. When I got home my odometer read 1939 miles, thought that was cool being the cabover was a 1939.

  21. Gotta watch the brine and salt by me. They usually spray the brine in advance of an expected snow or freezing rain. It leaves tracks like a street sweeper. We had snow early this past week, followed by a good rain, so I was out with my Ford after work yesterday. The roads were bone dry too.

  22. My daily driver for quite a while. Don't drive it as much now (build is over 20 years old!) but do take it out on a good day now and then to cruise around. Due for a tear down are refresh.

These are probably the best photos I've seen on The HAMB Ron.....the past, present and future all in one shot.

I agree texkbc. A pre war Ford can offer therapy no one can buy. A short drive can clear your mind.

Saw your roadster at Cooly Rocks, in 2016.
    A beautiful car.
Only problem was I couldn’t get up close to it to have a good look as it was always being driven.

I sold my pick-up so I would have no excuse not to drive the A. Takes me everywhere I need to go...

More fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow...
